First off, thanks to everyone who left such sweet comments yesterday. It's so encouraging to hear you guys are here for MY style, and it pushes me to make sure I'm staying true to myself each day. :)
I'm not sure what has caused the changed, but I'm so preferring more structured looks to more casual ones. Last year I loved a-line skirts and cardigans and this year I'm completely drawn to blazers and pencil skirts. Don't get me wrong, I still love a good cardigan, but I feel so much more put together in an outfit like this. I also feel like I know my body better and what looks good on me; I guess that's a good thing. I wore this outfit to church recently and felt like a million bucks, and that's always a good feeling.

Very cute outfit! The cobalt blue is a really pretty color on you. While I love structured looks, with fall coming I always lean towards more casual looks.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I am going in that same direction. I still wear cardigans ALL THE TIME, but I think I've bought 4 new blazers this year! I really want to find a couple in bright colors like this cobalt, or a bright pink.
ReplyDeleteoh my what a steal for the rebecca minkoff skirt! I need to visit your thrift store! I also love the blue blazer with the skirt! Im totally stealing the outfit idea for next week! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love this! Your bright blazer looks great against the black and white stripes. I've acquired several blazers now (where as a year ago I didn't own any) but I get really overheated in them, so I'm waiting for it to cool down a bit.
