I recently wore this for a double date with some great friends. Our daycare is part of a church and about once a month the youth group will host a play night for the kids to come and eat pizza, play games, etc while the parents can leave for a much needed date night. Grant always has fun with his BFF Quentin, and it's so nice for us to have time for uninterrupted conversations with friends. This night we went for Chinese, then over to our friends house for dessert. It was delightful.
Oh, and this outfit: I adore it. The dress is cotton (last year Target) but really feels like pajamas and these shoes were a splurge at J.Crew almost a decade ago. I love them.

I love wearing such cotton dresses too, this one is so pretty and fits you perfectly well:) You look very beautiful and your smile is so cheerful:) Those photographs turned out so great;)
ReplyDeleteWish you a great day ahead!
Yay for cotton! I just love how comfortable this looks. That is such a nice thing that your church offers. Babysitters are expensive and some parents really don't take enough time for themselves or each other. Glad they place an importance on that.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, those SHOES! I can see why you splurged and why you still wear them! What a perfect summery outfit!
ReplyDeleteCute dress Ginny and I'm loving the shoes and bag.

I love the double date night outfit! Those sandals are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI like these colors, they make me think of 4th of July :) I also am starting to fall for Kate Spade bags, and yours is perfect. Rachel xo
ReplyDeleteThose shoes were made for that dress, they just didn't know it yet! That dress look insanely comfy and so cute. Love this look Ginny!
ReplyDeleteHmmm I loved this Outfit just from the title alone. LOL Seriously though that adorable red+pink striped dress gets even prettier with those cute girly wedges. =)
ReplyDeleteI love pajama dresses! So cute and comfortable. Love these pretty shoes too!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are so cute! And I love your bag with the dress! The colors are great together.
ReplyDeleteI can never have enough stripes in my life. Red and white striped dress? Instantly smitten.
ReplyDeleteChic on the Cheap
What a perfect summer outfit! You've inspired me to bust out my denim jacket again :)
ReplyDeleteJust perfect! And cotton dresses are the best!! Susan
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute date night outfit!!! I LOVE the sandals totally worth the splurge!!!! Your evening sounded wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love those shoes! I have a similar pair in blue from Old Navy a few years ago, but I'm finally getting rid of them, because the ribbon tie doesn't stay tight enough, so they are super tricky to walk in. But these pictures make me wish I could keep mine!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea - I wish my church did that! Love the outfit but kept getting distracted by your bag - love the color! :)
