My New Favorite Outfit: Girls' Night!

Girls' Night!

Girls' Nights are wonderful!  Last night I had the opportunity to get together with some great friends for a fun, kid-free night.  I think it's so important to take time for yourself.  Just like it's important to plan date-night, girl time is so important too. I also love that I get to dress up a little bit, I'd planned to wear this tank and shorts then added the blazer and thought, "Why didn't I think I of that before." Love.  Add my heels and I love this summer, dressy look.

As of July 1st GFC is gone, so I'm preparing to move to Bloglovin.  Here's easy directions for how to move all the blogs you follow to Bloglovin in one easy step. Here's the link to follow me on Bloglovin too!

*On a side note, I obviously got my hair cut.  FYI when you tell your stylist to "do whatever" that's what they'll do.  I think the cut's alright, but it's definitely shorter than I expected. I'm starting to get used to it, but it might take a while...

Blazer: Kohls $17
Top: Old Navy $9 ?
Shorts: Kohl's $20

  6. You look beautiful in Blues, Greens, Teal & Mint. That Blazer is Lovely. I particularly love that top. You have gotten some great things from Old Navy lately. You should do a post on all your Old Navy buys.

  7. I love all the mint/teal here! I hate going to the hairdress for that exact reason, too! I've been cutting my own hair for the past 2 years haha

  10. Love this outfit! The blazer and top are perfect together, and I'm loving white shorts this summer. I just bought some that should arrive at my doorstep today, so I'll probably be wearing shorts and a blazer to work again soon!

    PS-your hair looks great!

  11. Great outfit Ginny. I really like your hair but i totally know what you mean about it taking some time to get used to. I've learned my lesson, never tell a hairdresser they can do whatever. Thanks for linking up. You look great.

  15. I definitely think it is important to take time for yourself and I don't even have kids! Sometimes I just need time away from the typical... Tuesday night I went and got drinks/played bingo with my girlfriends and I said we need to do this every week! Just put me in a good mood! Great outfit, I really love the blazer!

  19. So pretty! And I like the haircut. You're right... girl time is so very important. I think I need to plan some girl time soon! It's like one of the few excuses I have to actually get dressed up semi-fancy.

  26. What a great look for a girls night! Love that it is dressy but also practical for summer with the shorts! Was this Kohl's blazer a recent find? I love the ruffle in the ON top too- I never find cute tops there like you seem to!

  27. Ginny, that is such a great outfit! I love the look of a blazer with shorts for the summer - I've got a couple of outfits like this planned for my 30x30 - and you nailed it here! The colors are fantastic. I actually really love your hair - I'm considering growing mine out, and I'd want it to be about your length. I think it looks really healthy and chic :)
