This last weekend I not only got to visit my awesome sister Chelsea I also got to attend Go Blog Social. The organizers brought some amazing speakers, and I feel like I walked away with some great tips and I met some amazing people too. It was awesome to connect with other bloggers whose blogs I love and I was super flattered to connect with bloggers who read my blog or followed me on Instagram. I walked away with so many new connections and so many great blogs to read too!
One of the speakers was Nicole from Cedar and Rush, I wasn't familiar with her before the event but got some many tips from her about putting myself out there. I also think I might have actually learned how to tweet, watch out world, here I come!
I was also excited to meet Lauren of La Petite Fashionista. She spoke on branding herself, which she's done an amazing job of, by the way. She also was just as sweet in person as I thought she would be. She has done so much and I definitely plan to work to utilize her tips to make my blog the best it can be!
I knew Alissa of The Adored Life wasn't planning to come because she's super busy finishing her last semester of college, but was excited to see her at one of the night events. Let me tell you, if I had my act together at 22 the way this girl does I'd be running Vogue by now. This girl has got big things ahead of her!
Tomorrow I'm going to share with you some of the blogs and bloggers I met, because, girls, there are some great blogs out there you definitely shouldn't miss out on!
Also, today is the last day to enter to win any piece from Edith Marie Jewelry, enter here!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time. I want to meet some of you lovely ladies in real life, but everyone is SO FAR away! Is anyone on the east coast? Also, this outfit is so fresh and classy. I really should have invested in that blazer...
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that you are able to connect with other bloggers like that. How do you know when blogger social events are in your area? Did you join a forum for bloggers in your area? Just curious, since I read a lot of blogs where there seem to be meet ups and I never thought to ask. Cute jacket for the top. I have a navy blue shirt similar to yours and so this outfit inspires me to think of colors for the top I own. Going to pin this. Rachel xo http://garaytreasures.wordpress.com
