I've been back to school for a week and it's been going great. I wasn't sure it would be the best of starts, though. I was awakened last Tuesday morning not by my alarm, but by the most interesting of dreams. The Zombie Apocolype had taken over my school, and I woke up at the very moment I was bitten. You can't make this stuff up, people.
Also, this is my 10th year of teaching and the new math teacher was in 7th grade my first year teaching. Wow. I feel old.
On a good note, I'm really liking my kids and loving getting my dress clothes back. This combo might be one of my new favorites, for sure.
I'd love for you ladies to take a second to vote for me in the #AllNaturalStyleSecrets challenge here. Thanks so much!!!

You look adorable, this is the perfect teaching outfit! I'm glad your school year is going well so far!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is amazing! It looks so good on you, what a great find! I always have strange dreams before marathons (mostly that I have left my clothes somewhere far away). Your zombie apocalypse is hilarious. Hopefully you weren't about to be bitten by one of your students!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your school year is off to a good start! I just love this dress. What a stylish way to start off the school week :)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I love the texture on the dress!
ReplyDeleteYou look great for your first day back to school. I love the shape & rich texture of that dress. Many years ago I used to have a similar one from Esprit. I can't believe you thrifted it.
ReplyDeleteThe blazer/dress combo is great for teaching! School starts early over there! The kids here don't go back until after Labor Day.

Happy 10th year teaching! You look beautiful! Isn't it crazy when the new employees come in and we find out how young they actually were when we first started the job?!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit Ginny. Have you been watching the Walking Dead? :) The new stella and dot jewelry is fabulous. I can't wait to host my party in September. Congrats on teaching for 10 years!!! It will be 10 years of nursing for me next year. I can't believe how quickly time goes by.

Your dress is amazing! I can't believe it was $5! More importantly, I cannot BELIEVE you had a dream about a zombie apocalypse... because I HAD A DREAM LIKE THAT A FEW WEEKS AGO! Which was completely random considering I don't watch anything remotely scary. Woke up catching my breath and trying to explain to Sean what had just happened... you really can't make this stuff up.
ReplyDeleteI've been having crazy dreams lately, too! So weird. Anyway, this dress is completely amazing and I can't believe it was $5 at the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you go that dress for $5!!! Score!! Beautiful combo with the blazer and dress!!
