This outfit is pretty much this outfit's first cousin. I didn't do it on purpose, but as I was looking at these pictures I realized the similarity. When I got this top, I loved it, but I had no idea what I'd wear it with, now a year later I'm amazed at all the different combos I've come up with for a neon green shirt. Who'd have thought it? Needless to say, I love this combo and yes, I am declaring this outfit "Professional Neon" and seriously considering adding this one to my collection next. What about you, have you embraced neon?

So cute! I really like the pattern mixing and your jewelry!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Just enough neon to be fun but not enough to be over the top and non-professional. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of professional neon hahaha. That top is great, I know you have worn it a lot. Looks perfect with the Necklace. And as always gorgeous bracelets. I have embraced Neon in small and large doses, Like I did with today's outfit. Take a peek.

I just bought my first neon green top and I have yet to wear it... but this is giving me some inspiration! I think layering neon with neutrals in fall is such a great trend. Anyway, hope you can stop by my blog and enter my $50 Nordstrom gift card giveaway!

I always love how you have a necklace to match this top! And I think keeping the rest of the outfit neutral keeps the neon in check for work.
ReplyDeletethis is the perfect way to pull off neon for the office!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you toned down neon for work! I might warm up to neon now that I have an idea of how to wear in a polished way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea for professional and neon. I love the gorgeous necklace so much.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't like neon at all (especially not neon orange or pink), but I do have a neon yellowish-green sleeveless blouse that I really like to wear, especially with dark neutrals like black and gray (like you did here!). I have worn mine to work before, and I think it was appropriate since I wore it with some patterned pants and a black cardigan to keep it "grounded" and to keep it from being too bright and overwhelming. I think that's the trick to professional neon (love that term!). I think you did a great job of styling this top so that it looks perfect for work!!
ReplyDeleteUpdate- you saved me $10 at H&M yesterday! Thanks very much. :)
ReplyDeletelove your look! amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the professional neon! Such a great pop of color for a work outfit:)
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's professional without being stuffy. I love the necklace, it's so fun! :)
