Brights with Tights

Today's outfit inspiration comes from Danielle at A Little Bit of WoWe.  I loved her take and had never thought about wearing my floral skirt with tights. Little did I know that it would be freezing on April Fool's Day when I wore this (nice joke, Mother Nature) and I'd need tights.  Anyway, I love how this came together BUT am hoping this is the last time I need to wear tights until next fall (hint, hint).

  1. I had to laugh at the title because not too long ago, I used that same exact title for an Outfit of mine. =) Great minds think alike. That skirt is so cute and vibrant. It is definitely time for Tights with Boots today, here. Cold & rainy. I am wearing my Cognac Boots and Denim Jacket as I am typing this. My Outfits on the blog today, are much more warm-weather ready, though. =)

    Have a Great Weekend, Ginny!

  3. I love that floral skirt! I have seen it styled so many ways, but never with tights! Cute!! It is starting to warm up here too, but not warm enough for bare legs yet. I will be wearing tights with my skirt for Palm Sunday. Happy weekend! susan

  7. I think the tights make the skirt pop out more versus if you weren't wearing any tights.

  8. I LOVE how bright this is! I'm trying to focus on putting more color back into my wardrobe. It seems to have escaped recently.

  9. I have that same skirt! I haven't worn it yet this season but that is a good idea to pair it with tights before it really warms up :)

  10. Love that floral skirt! I wore a skirt without tights to dinner last night, and we sat out on the patio. I was a little too ambitious--the sun set, and the wind was blowing like crazy, so I had to fetch my coat from the car to act as a blanket. Warm weather, please get here and stay here!
