My New Favorite Outfit: Pattern Mixing

Pattern Mixing

Pattern Mixing and I have become pretty good friends, we hang out, mix stuff up, and generally confuse those in the Midwest who haven't reallized the perfection that pattern mixing is.. The first time I wore this skirt, I wore it like this, which I like the idea of, but I prefer today's outfit to it. Six months ago this outfit would not even have occurred to me, and for that I'd like I'd like to thank the lovely ladies of Blogland. :)

Stripe Sweater: Express $35
Skirt: Target $5 (thrifted)
Necklace: ebay $10
Purse: Coach
Shoes: Nine West $30

  1. One of the reasons I loved living in NY is because I could wear whatever I wanted and no one would care (since there's always someone dressed crazier!) :)

  3. I love this look! Blogging has gotten me to try new outfit combinations, too... which is one of the main reasons I wanted to start blogging. Documenting every outfit you wear definitely helps you to be creative and break out of your shell! Great look :)

  7. I totally agree with you Ginny. A year ago I would have never purchase pastel pink polka dot crop pants and now i love them. The blogging world has totally opened my eyes to new things and possibilities. Loving your outfit today and the mixing of patterns.
