Sponsor Spotlight: Charming Lucy

I'm excited to have Susan from Charming Lucy stop by today to share some great ideas for Color Blocking.  Take it away, Susan!

Today I am guest posting with my friend Ginny over at My New Favorite Outfit. Her blog is one that I read daily. She has fabulous fashion tips for women on a budget. Her style is chic, comfortable, and easy to replicate. I am super envious of her thrifting ability, and I hope she offers a class to help those of us who need to shop with a purpose! Ginny is the master! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy our lesson in color blocking(: Color blocked sweaters are one of my favorite trends this fall! They are popping up everywhere! They are super easy to style, come in gorgeous colors for fall and winter, and there are many affordable options. I have created a collaboration of a few of my favorite color blocked sweaters for fall. Old Navy and JC Penney offer some beautiful and affordable options this season! I even purchased a gray and orange color blocked sweater for my hubby, and he loved it!

I purchased a hot pink and navy sweater for Lucy from Abercrombie a few weeks ago. I love how she styled it with white denim and leopard flats. She made the lace headband to coordinate with her outfit.

I also like the color blocking trend in tees this season, so you can layer them with sweaters and blazers. I paired my J Crew top with denim and a tortoise shell statement necklace.

  8. And there are so many ways I would style this Necklace. First I would try it with a White Dress though. When I think of Tortoise I think of Summer so a White Dress would be perfect. =) Over a turtleneck paired with Fuchsia and Black for Fall, would be great too.
