So, I pretty much love this outfit. I wore it for my first Stella and Dot Trunk show (with jeans, it was like 20 degrees here on May 2nd), then I wore it with the white jeans to school this week, as the temperatures are back up in the 70s. This necklace is my all time favorite, it even beats out my bubble necklace (I know, crazy right?). I love the bright color combo I have on, but deciding which white jeans to wear with it was hard, so I took pictures with a pair of wide leg Banana Republic ones that were a crazy good find at Goodwill, then with a pair of CAbi ones, which were also a crazy good find at Goodwill last summer. I really like it both ways, but am surprised at how the style of the jeans changes the overall look. Which pair to you prefer?
Blog Everyday in May Challenge, Day 9: A moment in my day
I'd have to say the highlight of my day is getting to hang out with the Grantster. I just love when we sit together to watch a show, or play trains, puzzles, etc. He makes me so happy : )

Grant is so cute! And I love your outfit! The color combo makes me smile and that would be my favorite necklace too! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The bright colors are so awesome. I'm trying really hard to incorporate colors into my wardrobe, but I've been struggling a little. Thanks for the awesome ideas! I love that the blazer came from Kohls - it's amazing the deals you can find there! My local Khols is close to Goodwill. Perfect!

ReplyDeleteThat necklace is stunning and really pulls the whole outfit together! I think I like the outfit better with the wide leg pants. Grant is such a cutie! PS Thanks for linking up as always :)

Oh my goodness those colors. Teach me your ways. I look like a rotten banana in yellow.
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy how the different jeans change the look. I think the longer wide-leg ones look more professional, and then the crops look more casual, but I really like both options! You are a thrifting genius!
ReplyDeleteI really like both white jeans. However, the flared ones look more stylish and polished while the skinnier ones are great and casual!
ReplyDeleteLove the emerald green blazer and your necklace.

I love both those pairs of pants! I can't believe they're both from Goodwill!!! You really must have someone your size who takes a bunch of amazing stuff there. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou look fab in both outfits, I probably prefer the longer trousers slight because you look taller. Your little boy is very cute :)
ReplyDeleteThese colors look amazing together. Thanks for the great idea. Also I am in love with the necklace! You look great!

Great colors in this outfit! You can certainly rock those brights. I usually lean towards skinnies, but the wide leg pants look fabulous with this outfit! Oh, and the little dude is just too cute =)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this color combo...and the necklace is perfect with it!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness! I just bought a yellow dress at Target and decided that a green cardigan will look great with it.. I come to your blog and I don't feel crazy pairing the two colors together! You look super cute!
ReplyDeletereally great colors :) love that necklace!
ReplyDeleteGrant is soooooooooo cute. I like the wide leg jeans best - for some reason, it just looks more classy and timeless (though the other jeans look good too). This colour combination is gorgeous and you look amazing in it. I'm always scared to wear white pants because I never know when one of my kids will run up and give a huge hug right after colouring/eating blackberries/playing in mud/etc. I have become a master of evasive maneuvers to keep my clothing intact before I head to work.
ReplyDeleteGinny how beautiful do you like in your wide leg jeans?! It's a different style that I don't think I've seen on you before and I absolutely love it! The green blazer with the yellow top and the statement necklace is perfection. And the Grantser.....what a handsome little boy! P.S. I think this is my new favorite outfit too:))!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! Love those pants!
ReplyDeleteGinny, these may be one of your best outfits yet! Love the color combination with the white pants
ReplyDeleteHello! I’m visiting from Look What I Got! Lovin' that bright turquoise blazer :)

Beautiful bright colors and a pretty necklace.
ReplyDeleteAmazing colour combo! There is nothing more annoying than see ladies pair white pants with solid black, save it for the winter.. I love that you utilized the colouring box!
