My New Favorite Outfit: Bright and Springy

Bright and Springy

So, I pretty much love this outfit. I wore it for my first Stella and Dot Trunk show (with jeans, it was like 20 degrees here on May 2nd), then I wore it with the white jeans to school this week, as the temperatures are back up in the 70s.  This necklace is my all time favorite, it even beats out my bubble necklace (I know, crazy right?).  I love the bright color combo I have on, but deciding which white jeans to wear with it was hard, so I took pictures with a pair of wide leg Banana Republic ones that were a crazy good find at Goodwill, then with a pair of CAbi ones, which were also a crazy good find at Goodwill last summer.  I really like it both ways, but am surprised at how the style of the jeans changes the overall look.  Which pair to you prefer?

I'd have to say the highlight of my day is getting to hang out with the Grantster.  I just love when we sit together to watch a show, or play trains, puzzles, etc.  He makes me so happy : )

    I love it! The bright colors are so awesome. I'm trying really hard to incorporate colors into my wardrobe, but I've been struggling a little. Thanks for the awesome ideas! I love that the blazer came from Kohls - it's amazing the deals you can find there! My local Khols is close to Goodwill. Perfect!

    Love this look.I have a similar yellow top. I agree the necklace is stunning and so versatile. I'm eyeing the new red one. Hoping to host a stella and dot party next month. I love hanging out with Aiden. We played Candyland last night. It was so much fun.

    It is crazy how the different jeans change the look. I think the longer wide-leg ones look more professional, and then the crops look more casual, but I really like both options! You are a thrifting genius!

    Oh My Goodness! I just bought a yellow dress at Target and decided that a green cardigan will look great with it.. I come to your blog and I don't feel crazy pairing the two colors together! You look super cute!

    Grant is soooooooooo cute. I like the wide leg jeans best - for some reason, it just looks more classy and timeless (though the other jeans look good too). This colour combination is gorgeous and you look amazing in it. I'm always scared to wear white pants because I never know when one of my kids will run up and give a huge hug right after colouring/eating blackberries/playing in mud/etc. I have become a master of evasive maneuvers to keep my clothing intact before I head to work.
