I've been feeling a little uncultured lately. Some of my favorite bloggers happen to be Canadian and English and the spell "colour" fancily, say things like "jumper" for shirt and dress, and say my new favorite word "whilst," instead of saying while. I tell you, I need a little more culture in my life. Maybe I just to put on a nice bright coloured jumper whilst I think about how I can become a little more worldly...
Now to my outfit: Halfway through the challenge! Today I'm wearing my favorite cardigan again as a more dressy look. I swear it's not this blinding white in person, it must be the reflection from the snow. I'm even sporting double lace, crazy I know! I thought it'd be fun to wear patterned tights and have the lace top on as well. I'm really like this outfit, and I am beginning to think I can wear this cardi with anything!
Cardigan: Apt 9 $5 (thrifted)
Top: Express $19
Belt: The Limited $10
Skirt: Target $16
Necklace: Simply Vera $12
Bracelets: Kohls $10 and Express $14
Tights: Target $7
Shoes: Nine West $30
That sweater looks crazy cozy! I want! Also feel free to join us Canadians in the "colour" department. You can even throw in words like "favour", "honour", and "neighbour", if you want! Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteHehe, thanks!

DeleteYou can totally wear that cardigan with anything. Bold but beautiful with bold stripes. I like the double lace. I also like that between the neckline of your necklace & the pretty necklace, it looks like you have a cool little silk scarf on that you wore like a circle. =)
ReplyDeleteThe neckline of your top (I mean).
DeleteThanks Ada. I declare the cardigan a winner!
DeleteGreat look! I love the color combo and a striped cardigan is such a classic piece! x, Kat

It's funny because I'm Canadian and I don't use those words but it depends where you live in Canada. Love your outfit and the striped cardigan. Love me a cardigan.

DeleteI love that you find the way we say things cultured, if you heard my accent you wouldn't find me cultured haha. Although more americanisms are creeping into our British vocabulary. People say closet a lot and it bugs me, not because I don't like it but because it is an american word and only sounds cool when Americans say it. We are not cool we are British and say Wardrobe, lol. Also we seem to be picking up a lot of Australian sayings too, like 'no worries' I say it in meetings and instantly cringe when I hear it back in my head.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, back to the outfit. I love this cardigan and I agree it does go with anything. I need some lace tights like those, they look really classy whilst still being funky and a bit sexy too (ooh look I just used 'whilst' lol, I didn't realise I even used that word) and I love the COLOURS too hehe sorry couldn't resist.
Hope you are having a fabulous Thursday lovely.
