30x30 Day 22: Ace in the Hole

Day 22: 

My 30x30 challenge is 2/3 done, and after yesterday's rant about things that are stupid I wanted to wear something I knew I'd feel good about. This look was actually the first one I thought of for this dress. Why didn't I wear it sooner, you ask? Well, because I wasn't sure how this whole thing would play out, and I figured even if I had a number of flops towards the end of this challenge, I knew I'd have at least one outfit I knew I loved. Any other 30x30 girls think the same way? I've styled this dress two other ways so far, and I think I have one more look in mind before this challenge is done.

I was also nominated for another award called the Sunshine Award by the wonderful Agi at Vodka Infused Lemonade.

1. Who is your favorite philosopher? Hmm.  I've never really been big into philosophy, but as for someone who's spoken words to live by, I'd have to say Jesus.
2. What is your favorite number? 7, I'm not sure why.  Isn't supposed to be lucky or something?
3. What is your favorite animal? I love penguins.  Morgan Freeman made this love official with his narration of March of the Penguins.
4. What is your favorite time of day? I get the most done in the morning, but I enjoy the laziness of the evening.
5. What do you prefer, Facebook or Twitter? I like Facebook and am not on Twitter.  Now I'll sound old, but I don't understand hash tags or what twitter is. Really. 
6. What is your favorite holiday? I love Christmas.
7. What is your physical favorite activity? I love going on walks, as long as it's not like a million degrees.
8. What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? I. Love. Coffee (as stated earlier this week)
9. What is your passion? I'd have to say my family, my faith, and this little blog.
10. What is your favorite flower?  Any kind my husband actually ponies up to buy.  Last year I got a beautiful bouquet of roses for our anniversary.  I was sooo excited, then he told be that they only cost $10 at the grocery store and what a deal that was. Sigh....
