30x30 Day 6:My Favorite Blazer and Near Death By Chocolate

Day 6:

As I was preparing to write this post I thought I'd have a little treat left over from the holidays, a chocolate covered bing cherry.  I love them and they are the perfect size for just having one and being content.  Well, I must have really wanted it because instead of just a simple bite, I must have inhaled it and nearly coughed and choked to death.  Seriously not cool. I'm considering it a sign and have decided not to eat chocolate anymore (for today).

Now to the outfit, I've decided that this navy blazer is pretty much my favorite thing right now. $.99 at the thrift store? Really? It's vintage style is perfectly fit for me and I have about a dozen possible looks ready to go with this blazer. I love this dress too, but totally thought of it as being only for summer. I conclude I was wrong, I love this combo together!

I was nominated for the Leibster award again by Fanny at Pinstriped Penguin and Ada at Elegance Personified, take a minute and go check out their blogs!

Hey, one more thing. I always try to stop by your blog when you leave me a comment here. I'm going to start replying to your comments on here as well. I wish blogger functioned more like Facebook with notifications, wouldn't that be nice! But until then I thought I'd give all you lovely readers a heads up. :)

Dress: Express $30
Belt: Kohls (from a pair of pants)

  5. I do get the emails on people who comment, but I wish it was more like an open dialogue like Facebook, and not such a closed conversation, if that makes since?

Thanks for the compliment on the dress too :)

  13. This outfit looks lovely on you (and it looks so expensive, you are so good at thrifting!!) I really like the nude shoes with the dark tights, I might try it one day soon.

Glad you didn't have death by chocolate, that would have been badddd. But I really crave chocolate now (I didn't even eat any all over Christmas I was all about the cheese and savoury foods) now I may need to go out to the little corner shop to get some, I need it now! Lol.

  15. That's scary! When I first started dating my husband, I choked on my gum and he had to save me. (Luckily he's trained in first aid and cpr). And then a couple years ago, my mom chocked on one of her huge vitamins and my husband had to save her too. Glad your ok :) Love your outfit!

  16. You have been wearing some very lovely dresses the past few days. You know what I like about dresses in the wintertime? Even if your legs are resembling Chewbacca, you can throw on some tights, and NO ONE knows. I'm not saying you have this problem today; your dress just made me think of it. (If I'm being honest, I'd say that I'M having this problem today, and tights saved me.)

Also, I love the colors in that dress. So fun and flirty :)
