30x30 Day 17: Weekend Style

Day 17:

I'm officially the worst movie picker ever. Last night we rented Killer Joe with Mathew McConaughey. It had Mathew McConaughy, it had to be good, right????? Don't do it! It is seriously two hours of my life I'll never get back. What were you thinking Mathew McConaughy?????

Now to my outfit:  I've worn this shirt and necklace together before, but always in a more dressy look, I really like it paired with jeans to make it a more comfortable, go-to outfit. Still dressier than my normal weekend attire, though.  I'm also going to take Lynette's advise and change into sweats and a t-shirt before going to get weekly groceries.  As she pointed out last weekend, according to Kendi, who started this whole 30x30 thing a few years back, "workout clothes don't count in your 30 items," and going to Walmart on a Saturday morning is definitely a workout.  : )

Cardigan: JCrew (circa 2007)
Top: Express $12
Necklace: Express $14
Jeans: Earl $5 (thrifted)
Bracelets: Express $14
Shoes: Nine West $30

  3. Ahahaha YAY YAY YAY! I could never do 30 x 30 if sweats weren't involved. I literally only wear real clothes to work, and if I'm going somewhere where sweats aren't socially acceptable, like church. :)

This outfit is cute though! That snakeskin pattern top is so cute and looks so high end and fashionable no matter what you pair it with. And I LOVE pointed heels! I don't own any because the one pair I did have were getting old, and my husband said it made my feet like pointy (Duh), so yeah. HA. What do husbands know?!

  4. Perfect Saturday outfit, I really like the cut of those jeans.

Have fun at Walmart (I don't even know what Walmart is but it sounds epic if you have to change into sweats to hit it)

    1. Thanks! Walmart is like the biggest chain of grocery stores here. They are huge and sell about anything you need. Be lucky you've never stepped foot in one :)

  7. I love that pop of neon! Walmart is definitely a workout, so I support you wearing sweats and tshirt. :) I'm already regretting my rule of not leaving the house in my sweats during the challenge...it's so annoying to change for those times when I need to just run to the grocery store that's right in front of our house! haha

    1. Thanks, I really like Lynette's rationale. I think I could justify most anything as a workout :)
