30x30 Day 21: My Outfit and Things That Are Stupid

Day 21:

My Outfit: I started this challenge wearing this blazer and skirt, and I'm wearing them together again with my sequined tank and boots.  Honestly, I really like how this came together but I really didn't feel like wearing this skirt and blazer again.  I think I might be hitting a wall. I'm ready to get my closet back.

Things that are stupid: Buying clothes during a month when you can't wear them.  So stupid.  I "happened" to find two great skirts I couldn't pass up at Target as I was shopping for "detergent."  I also sold some clothes and Plato's closet and "happened" to find a great plaid and a gingham button down.  Then I was donating at Goodwill and "happened" to find a two great dresses.  Crazy how this all just "happened." I really want to wear them all.  Nine. More. Days.

I was also nominated for the Leibster Award again by Tiffany at Pink Faith Today, go check put here cute blog :)

Blazer: Vinage (thrifted) $.99
Top: Express $25
Belt: Kohls $1.5
Skirt: Ann Taylor Loft $5
Necklace: Plato's Closet $3
Bracelet: Got on honeymoon in Hawaii : )
Boots: Born $100

  2. I am seriously feeling the same way! I have clothes I got for Christmas that I didn't include in the 30z30 so I haven't even worn them yet! So sad. Only 8 more days (for me at least)! I think your outfit looks wonderful- that skirt and blazer are made for each other.

  4. Hang in there, you can do it! :) This outfit looks really nice so at least you have that to console yourself with and the new clothes will feel even more special after you having to wait so long to finally wear them :)

    1. Thanks, I think I've learned a lot about how to wear things differently, which is great, it's just hard when you really don't feel like wearing something. We. Ca. Do. It!

  8. I think you've done a great job on your 30x30, but I totally understand that you are ready to have your clothes back!

Oh, and I don't know how it happens... but every time I "run" to Target for a few items I come back with a new article of clothing :)

  10. Buying something and not being able to wear it?! That sounds like pure torture. I usually have the tags off before I even get to the car!

  11. "and Things That Are Stupid." Can this be like a weekly thing? :) Believe me, I am SO READY to be done with this 30 for 30 (which makes me sad, because I so loved it last time) and get back in to the rest of my closet. This is not helping my seasonal depression!!!

    1. Things that are stupid, probably could be a weekly focus, I'll have to think about that.... As for the 30x30 I'm soooo glad I've done it as it's really made me think about what I can create with clothes I already have, I just didn't realize I'd be such a weeny when it came to wearing certain pieces of clothing repeatedly. Total bummer you're not into it this time, I've gotten felt didn't seem as crazy about it this time. I'm thinking this could be a twice a year challenge, it would be hard to do two 30x30s in the same season.

  15. I just did the same thing this past weekend at target! I did not intend on buying any clothes and I left with a cardigan, dress, and faux leather jacket haha! Your floral skirt is really cute and it looks great paired with the structured black blazer! I just found your blog and am your newest follower on GFC & Bloglovin! It would be great if you could check out my blog too:)!

  27. I could relate with buying clothes and able to wear. I usually get a smaller size to help motivate me to lose weight and i end up not using them for months. :)
